This completely changed the term “mobile phone”: it was no longer just used for making calls or sending messages, but could do many other things. By the year of 2010, virtually all smartphones had a touchscreen and an internet connection. The world of mobile phones is constantly changing and evolving. Recent developments include smartwatches connected to mobile phones, curved screens, or waterproof devices.
